Trex
Seclusions®, a new line of privacy fencing
offered in select regions of the country from
building products manufacturer Trex® Company,
will be featured on the popular show Extreme Makeover:
Home Edition, Sundays 8/7c on ABC on Nov. 26,
2006. The new fencing will enhance the low-maintenance
advantages of a brand new home donated to a Logan,
Utah family in need.
The
new home was constructed in just one week for
the Pauni family by Kartchner Homes, also of Logan.
The Pauni family moved to Utah from Tonga in 1991
in search of a better life and educational opportunities.
In 2004, husband/father Danny Pauni died of a
heart attack, leaving his wife Janet, their nine
children and live-in nephew struggling financially.
The family now runs four businesses to make ends
meet, including a Tongan catering business. Despite
their own hardships, they still find time to donate
and deliver food to needy families and volunteer
their services for the elderly.
With
a large family and one of the biggest homes ever
constructed for the show, low-maintenance was
absolutely required. But Kartchner Homes also
wanted the Pauni’s to have a superior design.
The new fencing product fits the bill perfectly
with stunning, natural looks in rich earth tones
that enhance the beauty of the home. Made of about
50/50 reclaimed wood and recycled plastic, Trex
